I am honored to have this opportunity to serve as the State Representative in Colorado House District 10. I am dedicated to serving the residents of my district, and the State of Colorado.
I am further privileged to serve the Democratic Caucus as Whip, as the ranking Democratic member of the Finance Committee, and as a member of the Appropriations Committee.
In addition to presenting legislation I believe is of benefit to our district and our state, I must also fight against legislation that I think is not aligned with the progressive values that define both our district and our state. This past session produced many difficult moments in this regard, but I will continue to work with both sides of the aisle to assure the legislation presented in the next session is focused on creating jobs, protecting important services that affect our present and our future, and keeping our state’s fiscal house in order.
While
being in the minority is a challenge, it is not an excuse to accomplish
less. I will continue to fight for our common principals and values.
